Baegunbong Peak is a rocky summit located
south of Mount Yongmunsan. It is also known
as the ¡°Matterhorn of Korea¡± because of its
high peak, which looks as if it might touch
the sky. Hiking trails can be taken from the
Sanasa Temple, Okcheon-myun and the climbing
courses can be seen from Yeonsu-ri, Yongmun-myun,
and atop Baegunbong Peak, from Mount Yongmunsan
and from Mount Cheonggyesan, as well. The Seoreung
of Mount Yongmunsan resembles a dragon sheltered
by the vertical, rock wall of Hamwanggol. To
the west lies the Sanasa Temple and all of
Yangpyeong-eup can be seen from the south.
